Prasert Yodkaew
Born in Songkhla Province, Thailand in 1987. Lives and works in Bangkok. Prasert Yodkaew has graduated with a BFA with honors from Silapakorn University. Prasert does not intend to provide answers to the audience but confronts with paradox designs of devices, creatures, three dimensional decompositions of traditional architecture mixed with biological specimens. He blends Western engineering with mostly Thai elements. He participated in group shows in USA, Laos and Thailand. Prasert has won several awards in Thailand for his works and participated in the Maduzi Hotel Art Fair in Bangkok. He exhibited a sculpture installation at the cave exhibition ‘Metro- Sapiens’ in Ratchaburi province and his works were shown at Tadu Gallery and Numthong Gallery. Most recently Prasert’s works have been exhibited at Tang Contemporary in Bangkok and Beijing.
