Born in 1985, lives and works in Bangkok, Thailand. Pachara graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts at Silpakorn University. In his early works, Pachara explored themes of identity and memory, before shining focus to social and political contexts, the paintings are remarkable for their narration of political, labor, and social history, as well as for questioning the memory and identity of the artist. His works are filled with a surreal atmosphere through quiet and enigmatic landscapes, without the need for jarring or violent elements. The use of his unique visual language unleashes the viewer's perception to work at its fullest.
Currently, Pachara works as a full-time artist and has ongoing solo and group exhibitions both in Thailand and internationally. His works have been exhibited in solo exhibitions at Richard Koh Fine Art in Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore, ARTIST+RUN, and DOB Hualamphong Gallery both in Bangkok, Thailand. He participated in group exhibitions at Richard Koh Fine Art at Gillman Barracks in Singapore, Ferme de Quincé in Rennes, France, Jing Jai Gallery in Chiang Mai, Thailand, PSG Art Gallery, The National Gallery, Gallery VER, and Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, all in Bangkok, Thailand. His works also have been shown at the Art Fair Philippines, the Guanlan International Print Biennial 2007 in Shenzhen, China, and the “14th International Print Biennial” in Varna, Bulgaria.
